Dr. Maruff Akinwale Oladejo, the Founder/CEO, Higher Education Leadership Network (HelNet) hails from Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria where he was born over forty years ago. He attended St. Mary Catholic Primary School, Oluyoro, Ibadan between 1977-1983; Renascent High School, Aremo between 1983-1988. He holds his first, second, and third degrees in Educational Management from  University of Ibadan, Nigeria. His areas of expertise cut across Educational Planning and Policy, Economics of Education as well as Open and Distance Learning pedagogy. He has published articles in these areas in several local and international learned journals.  He joined the services of the University of Lagos, Akoka in the Department of Educational Management in February 2013 after spending 13 years at Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo.  At the international scene, Dr. Oladejo is a widely travelled scholar. He has travelled far and near to present scholarly papers at international conferences in such countries as the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, the United States of America, South Africa, Ghana, Malaysia, and the Netherlands. He also served as the Lead Editor of the Maiden Edition of the Special Issue of the European Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (EJHSS), London, United Kingdom between May-September, 2011. He was a Visiting Research Fellow, to the Institute for Research Management and Monitoring, Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2013. He was a Co-Chair, Mini Track on ‘’Emerging Technologies’’ at the International Conference on e-Learning, ICEL 2013, Cape Peninsula University of Technology, South Africa. He also served as Panel Moderator, at the 8th Public Performance Measurement and Reporting Conference, School of Public Affairs and Administration, University of Rutgers, Newark, New Jersey, USA, September, 2015. He was a Mini Track Chair at the International Conference on e-Learning, ICEL 2017, University of Central Florida, Orlando.   Dr. Oladejo is also a Reviewer to some international journals, notably Current Issues in Education, Journal of the School of Education, Arizona State University, Phoenix, USA. He is a Consultant to several private and public organisations  such as Anat Consulting, Lagos; Bimario Consultancy, Lagos; and British Council, Lagos.  He is happily married and the union is blessed with children.
